2+1 year Postdoctoral Position in Cosmology– Deadline December 14th, 2018
The Cosmology group at Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) invite applications for a postdoctoral fellow position in Theoretical / Observational Cosmology to work with Prof. Arman Shafieloo.
For this position we are particularly interested to an enthusiastic researcher to work on large scale structure data (current real data and future data simulations) to test and study different cosmological models. This could involve working on innovative statistical algorithms to deal with large flow of data from future cosmological surveys (Cosmology Big Data) such as LSST. The position is available from September 1, 2019 though the starting date is negotiable.
Salaries are internationally competitive and an additional research fund of 10,000,000 Korean Won (~US $8,500) will be provided each year. The group is consistently growing and is active in various fields of cosmology including observational cosmology, primordial inflation, cosmological perturbation, large scale structure and dark energy.
