How to arrive to Jeju island
- From Incheon International Airport (Seoul)
If you are coming from Europe, America or Oceania you will arrive to Incheon international Airport. In order to fly to Jeju you will need to transfer to Gimpo Airport after clearing customs. There is a direct train connecting airports and the transfer duration is about 40-60 minutes. You will have to check in again at Gimpo for the domestic flight to Jeju. Both Korean Air and Asiana have flights between Gimpo and Jeju, as well as other local korean airlines.
- Direct flight to Jeju International Airport
If you are coming from Asia, we strongly recommend that you flight directly to Jeju International Airport.
- From Daejeon
If you are planning to visit KASI pre- or post-conference, the easiest option is to fly from Cheongju International Airport, which is 1 hour away from Daejeon.

There will be a bus on Monday 22 from Jeju International Airport to Seogwipo KAL hotel at 2pm
There will be a bus on Saturday 27 from Seogwipo KAL hotel after finishing the conference at 12:30pm

From the Jeju International Airport to the hotel by public bus
In case you are travelling on your own, we suggest taking the Airport limousine bus at Jeju International Airport

The KAL hotel at Seogwipo is the last stop of the journey. There is a bus every 16 minutes and the price is 5500 KRW.


From the Jeju International Airport to the hotel by taxi
In general, taxis are more affordable in Korea than in other locations. If you take a taxi between the airport and the hotel, it may take 60-70 minutes to arrive to the hotel and cost around $30. Taxis take cash. Taxis can be found in the stop outside the arrival area.
