Non-standard neutrino cosmology

Speaker

Abstract

The base Λ-CDM model makes several assumptions about the nature of neutrinos. Questioning these basic assumptions is not only justified because neutrinos are among the least understood particles of the standard model. It also opens up the opportunity to use cosmological data in order to constrain physics beyond the standard model in the neutrino sector. I will talk about the phenomenology and cosmological constraints of several scenarios including neutrino decay, non-standard self-interactions, lepton asymmetry and non-thermal distributions.
